There is one thing you can count on when you step into a Mustang GT. And no, it is not the tendency to oversteer into a curb and gobble up innocent bystanders. What you can count on is a good time. First there is the soundtrack of 8 cylinders. Then there is the feeling of your back being pressed into the seat when you put your foot down and finally there is the people, who are still very much in love with America’s icon. Unless they drive an eco friendly car and hate everything that guzzles gas.

I really do like the newest incarnation of the mustang. Originally I thought I wouldn’t because Ford changed it up so much. But they are really nice cars, respond well to modifications and just look darn mean from just about every angle. And needless to say, that interior is just a darn nice place to be in!

And that red... I might be biased since my own 2005 Mustang GT is practically the same color... But this might be one of the best colors to get a new S550 in!

Really enjoyed this one too. I'm tempted to purchase one of these cars in the next year or so, but the wife has intense reservations over the lack of backseat. The car in the video is tastefully done, and the boots tucked in the grill are a nice touch.

Good suggestion. That's pretty high on my list actually. How do you like yours? Did you get auto or manual? Good daily driver as well as backroad stormer?

I absolutely love it. Of course it is hard to dislike any new car. I got the manual. I daily it and will during the winter (with snow tires).

The magnetic ride makes it quite comfortable even with the stock RE050 tires. Makes for a wonderful commuter car. 14.5 MPG average now, but I kill the throttle everywhere.

In performance or track mode the car is super composed on back roads. With the stock flatfooted alignment on PSS tires, I am seeing .85G sustained with peaks of .97G on the HUD.

The Dual mode exhaust is awesome as well. Whisper quiet or loud if you want it.

Did you mean your wife has reservations over the size of the back seat?

I couldn’t pass up the meme for this one so I had to do it! I actually had a rear ward facing car seat in my 2005, but my wife is 5 foot so that worked out. When the second one was on the way I bought my grand marquis, so space was no problem anymore!

Yeah. I was being facetious.
